Body Glove wetsuits are generally considered among the finest wetsuits available. The company was founded in the 1950’s, and was the first to introduce a practical wetsuit for diving. Since then, their wetsuits have become popular with surfers and water skiers as well.

Body Glove wetsuits were originally invented because founders Bill and Bob Meistrell found that the combination of night surfing and the cold water of the Pacific made for an exceptionally cold experience. They found that the Neoprene used to insulate refrigerators could be easily sewn into a tight fitting suit. Soon they were making these suits for divers and surfers throughout southern California.
Today, Body Glove wetsuits come in a variety of designs. From full suits to shorts and vests, they continue to make wetsuits of the highest quality. Since the founding of the company, they have also expanded into regular swimwear, footwear, sunglasses, and a host of other items as well.
