Scuba digital cameras are some of the most popular diving equipment that is not required for safety. They allow the diver to capture many digital pictures underwater. Most models have large view screens to aid framing the shot while wearing a large diving mask.
Depending on the resolution of scuba digital cameras they can capture thousands of pictures without having to be uploaded. They often store the information on easily replaceable storage cards that can be upgraded for increased storage. Large, high resolution pictures require more space so a larger card is often necessary.
Scuba digital cameras are completely water proof up to a certain depth. Generally, the deeper it can go the more expensive the camera will be. There are also waterproof cases that a regular camera can be fitted into turning it into an underwater camera. These are generally much bulkier with hard to use controls than one that is designed for the water.
