Wetsuits are an important aspect of scuba divers equipment. Because the water can be quite cold, especially in deep water, the human body requires some additional insulation. Neoprene wetsuits are designed to hold in body heat, thereby keeping the diver substantially warmer than they would be without one.
Snorkeling items are the most basic parts of scuba divers equipment. Most divers start out using nothing but a mask, snorkel and some fins. This is an excellent way to get the feel for swimming in open water.
Gauges are essential to scuba divers equipment. These devices relay critical information to the diver regarding a variety of things including depth, air consumption and time underwater. All of this information is necessary for a safe dive.
